Smells, flavours, music, buildings, paintings and landscapes of the Baroque await you during 9 weeks in summer in 9 areas of the Pilsen Region. The 9 Weeks of Baroque festival invites you to a programme that takes place every day for 63 days in 63 areas of West Bohemia. The phenomenal collection of Baroque monuments will be at the centre of the great summer festival and will also be declared a European cultural discovery. Baroque nights with historical fireworks await visitors as well as top musical productions, contemporary and historical fairs, church concerts, community events in the countryside, tours of revitalised Baroque castles and guided tours of towns. The programme is designed with families with children, adults and senior citizens in mind, as well as cultural tourists, classical music connoisseurs, hikers and local and foreign visitors.
