ZOO and Botanical Gardens in the Czech Republic: Pilsen

Plzen Zoological and Botanical Garden s the second oldest zoo in the Czech Republic. We will go there by unique ZOO train. The collection of animals contains more than 1,300 species and 6,500 individuals [the largest in the country]! Zoo attendance is more than 450,000 people per a year and it  was ranked among the 4 most successful zoos and one of the main attractions of the Czech Republic. Among the most interesting Pilsen animals are: Indian rhinos, Sudanese cheetahs, Liberian hippos, Komodo dragons, giant tortoises, lemurs, chimpanzees, giraffes, Siberian tigers, Snow and Chinese leopards, penguins and many others. Successful breeding is being achieved by turtles, crocodiles, clawed monkeys, lemurs, many reptiles, birds and small mammals. Let´s go to help to support and preserve them!
