The Czech Republic after Dark: Pilsen

Categories: City & Life

After night falls and the crowds thin, we’ll take you to Pilsen city from the Cathedral at the Republika´s Square, across the celtic river Mže, to the old quater Roudná, where are plenty of old houses, ancient pubs or church with cemetary of hundreds devastated graves. From this Pilsen „Small site“ we will walk back through the lanes and courtyards, visit the old monastery and stop for a while in the oldest church in Pilsen. Your guide will lead you through the city’s dark and often esoteric history, around plague column and the ‘Alchemist Emperor’ Rudolf II house up to the recent past, to the New Theatre or the Communist secret police building.

No one will jump out at you to try to scare you. On this dark tour we focus on storytelling and not on special effects or cheap tricks to make the tour ‚frightening‘. We will take you through the mysteries, legends and tales from the darker side of Pilsen’s history, and none of our stories are made up for the tour.
